Dress Regulations

As a premier golf course our conservative dress code reflects the Club’s stature and traditional style.

Clubhouse Dress Code
As a premiere private club, the dress code for the Marine Drive clubhouse will be left to individual sense of good taste. Members and guests are expected to be wearing smart casual clothing in good repair.

Please refrain from wearing hats (unless on the patio), sweat pants, hoodies and exercise clothing.

Golf Course / Practice Range Dress Code
As a premiere private golf club, all members and guests must be appropriately dressed at all times. It is the member’s responsibility to see that their guests are informed of the club’s policies regarding the dress code.

Gentleman on the Golf Course / Practice Range

Shirts
Collared shirts, turtlenecks or mock necked shirts are permitted. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Pants
Tailored slacks and golf shorts with a front zipper are permitted. Shorts must be at least mid-thigh in length.

Not Permitted – Cargo pants or shorts with baggy pouches on the side, track pants, blue jeans or sweat pants.

Socks
Socks must be worn at all times.

Hats
All hats must be worn with the bill facing forward.

Ladies on the Golf Course / Practice Range

Shirts
Tops must be appropriate golf attire.Tops must either have sleeves or have a collar. While certain tailored tops may be worn outside of bottoms, tops must cover the midriff at all times.

Pants
Tailored slacks, capri pants, golf skirts or golf shorts are permitted. Skirts and shorts must be at least mid-thigh in length.

Not permitted – Cargo pants or shorts with baggy pouches on the side, track pants, blue jeans or sweat pants.

Elastic leggings may only be worn under a skirt, dress or shorts.

Check-in
Please arrive at the Club at least 30 minutes prior to your designated tee time.

Bag Drop
Our bag drop service is located at the bottom of the driveway to the left of the clubhouse. Use the intercom to call the attendant.

Driving Range
You are welcome to use the driving range facilities prior to your tee time. Please check in with the Golf Shop upon arrival.

Locker
Guest lockers are available. Contact the Locker Room Attendant or Club Receptionist for keys and location.

Marine Drive Golf Club offers complimentary Sun Mountain push carts for your use.

Pace of Play
We pride ourselves on a reasonable pace of play in our time starved world. Rounds of 3:30 are not unusual at Marine Drive and all players are expected to play in 4 hours or less. This will give you more time to relax before heading off for the rest of your day.

Cell Phones
The use of cell phones at Marine Drive Golf Club is permitted. We ask that you keep your phone on silent / vibrate mode and refrain from talking on your phone in the clubhouse or on the golf course. Speaking on your cell phone is permitted in the locker rooms and in the parking lot. The use of laptops and tablets is permitted inside the Clubhouse except during dinner service (after 5:00 p.m.).
