DISHWASHER
Marine Drive Golf Club is currently accepting applications for a part-time dishwasher. We are looking for a positive, hardworking, dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our kitchen team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to work weekends and night shifts
We are looking for positive, hardworking, dedicated and self-motivating individuals to join our kitchen team.
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; additional language(s) is considered an asset
Candidate must have demonstrated excellent organizational skills and be able to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
Ensures all duties on task list are completed; Assists with other food & beverage outlets when required.
Hard worker and familiar with safety procedures, dishwasher handling and general cleaning duties.

Marine Drive Golf Club is located in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia. Marine Drive is one of the top 5 premier private golf facilities in the area. Established in 1922 by A.V. Macan, this 18-hole private golf club offers only the best in golf course grooming and tournament conditions on a daily basis. Major renovations of the bunkers, green surrounds, aprons, and forward tees in 2010 and a newly constructed practice facility which opened in 2016. We continue to offer our membership the high standard of conditions which they have come to enjoy.
We are currently seeking qualified, hard working, self motivated and passionate individuals to not only join but elevate our turf-care team in the daily operations of providing the best playing conditions that our membership has come to expect.
Qualifications:
Capable of physical labour
Early morning riser
Punctual
Drivers licence an asset
Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf an asset
The Ability to learn quickly and carry out all training for turf-care maintenance
Confident with operating various pieces of equipment
Have a positive attitude and be a team player
A general desire and ownership of the job at hand
Responsibilities:
Mowing and trimming all turf areas
Maintaining and grooming bunkers
Proper use and care for all machines and equipment
Effective communication and cooperation with supervisors on a daily basis
Positive attitude towards your fellow turf-care team and the interactions with our members
Overall respect for the equipment and towards the individuals you work with

Job Aspects:
28 to 40 hours per week.
Food 50% off discount at snack shack
Weekends involve 4 to 6-hour shift
$17.19 starting rate. Negotiable rate with experience
Health benefits and RRSP contributions after 3 months probation period.
Seasonal positions are April to Sept. 30th with potential for longer.
